I use to watch Mr. Wilson on my PBS station as a kid in the early 80’s. It’s amazing he could keep a ten year olds attention.

Even up here in Canada. As kids when we wanted to make a point we'd say "Ah Gar un tea!" He's the reason I taught my kids food is a celebration of life

This man is and will always be a legend! The first and last cook to hold my attention while he taught the masses a little sumthin about sumthin!

When I moved to this Country as a college student I spent my afternoons between classes watching PBS and I was mesmerized by Justin’s shows. It taught me of the depth of American culture and I was hooked with his cooking and how funny and entertaining he was.

In the early 1980"s i had gotten laid off from my job. i took another job as a rural newspaper deliver. Monday thru Saturday it was a noon to 4 pm job. But Saturday I had to start at midnight to deliver over 400 papers county wide. Here in Tennessee, late at night we could tune in to WWL out of New Orleans on AM clear as a bell. WWL was a truck drivers' channel but every third or fourth song would be a comedy routine called a trucker's chuckle by either Justin or Gene Tracy. these kept me laughing and awake to get my job done,

As ya'll enjoys; Imagine cajuns inventing Italian pizzas. I hear that pizza from Italy is just as delicious as it was back in 1990 - 95. Have you ever cut into a Calzone and watched the egg just fill the plate so the meal can be dipped in yoke? I have a lot of questions about what Italy is like today.

Like taking a trip back in time! I remember hearing him on t.v. cause Paw Paw watched him faithfully! I haven't heard anyone talk about boo-ray in such a long time. So glad Paw Paw taught me how to play. I miss my Paw Paw so much 😢 Wish I could have taken him to see Justin Wilson, but I was too young back then.

Save with me I couldn't wait to watch him on t v And I started cooking cajun for myself Dial 10 daughters she thinks a bell peppers hot But the youngest one she was about thirteen months old wanted to eat everybody's food I told her this is not for you, baby, this is, for me. One episode his nose was running and he said "Oh my nose is gettin' athletic (t sound not th sound?) Cracked me up! I still say it every once in a while.

I watched him as a little kid like 5 years old I was obsessed with his cooking show. Its where I learned to use seasonings I guarantee!

Me and my Dad would watch him every Saturday and then make what ever he was cooking.

My sister, dad, and I would watch him all the time when I was a kid. My dad was always impressed by how he could measure the spices exactly in his palm. This brings such nostalgia. I hope Justin's family knows how much joy he brought people with his show.
